ARTIST BIO — William Leon Rosenberg

Born // June 14th, 1981

A local from Southern California, Will was born and raised in San Diego, living in the same house until the age of 20. Although he stayed in California for his college career (a degree in Religion and minor in Business at Vanguard University, Orange County), a single question radically directed Will overseas. When asked what his aspirations were after graduating in 2004, he responded with words that would direct the next few years of his life: “I am going to travel around the world.” Will had answered better than he knew.

It was only a short time later that Will connected with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), a globally based Christian organization. By February 2005, Will was in New Zealand as part of a school called Around the World in 80 Days. Since then he has traveled and lead teams extensively around the world through:

Will’s dad encouraged him to pursue photography. It was through a black & white photo class that Will’s eye was drawn into the camera lens. He became enamored with the art & has been shooting ever since.

In recent years throwing paint on canvas has also surfaced as a strong passion of Will Rosenberg’s. He truly has been an ARTIST since a young age.
